Qover

Founded in 2016 by Quentin Colmant and Jean-Charles Velge in Brussels, Qover provides API-first infrastructure that enables digital businesses to embed insurance products directly into their customer journeys. Clients including Revolut, Mastercard, BMW, Monzo, bunq, and Canyon use Qover's platform to offer insurance as a native product feature rather than as a separate purchase, distributing policies at the point of maximum relevance in the customer relationship.

In March 2026, Qover secured a $12M growth facility from CIBC Innovation Banking, surpassing $100M in total cumulative funding. The company now protects 15 million people across 32+ countries and has set a target of 100 million users by 2030. Qover manages the full insurance value chain: product design, regulatory compliance across European jurisdictions, claims processing, and insurer relationships.

Qover reaching profitability-adjacent scale while expanding internationally represents a rare milestone in European insurtech, a segment that saw significant VC consolidation and writedowns from 2022 onward.
