Overview

Founded in 2014 and based in Ghent, PieSync built two-way, real-time contact synchronization between business applications. Where most integration tools handle one-time or batch transfers, PieSync focused on keeping contact records continuously in sync across CRMs, marketing tools, and productivity apps.

HubSpot acquired PieSync in 2020, integrating its synchronization technology into HubSpot's Operations Hub product. The acquisition gave HubSpot a native data sync layer and gave PieSync a successful exit in the Belgian SaaS ecosystem.

The founding team and the exit added to Ghent's track record of producing SaaS companies with international acquirers.
