Overview

Wille brings more than 25 years of animal health industry experience, including leadership positions at Boehringer Ingelheim and Merial. Animab was founded in June 2020 and raised EUR 3.4 million in seed funding from V-Bio Ventures and QBIC. Its lead product Nanoprotec is an oral monoclonal antibody targeting post-weaning diarrhea in piglets caused by E. coli (ETEC). In July 2025 the company closed a EUR 10 million Series B to support a regulatory submission to the European Medicines Agency and a projected market launch by end of 2026.
