Overview

Goedseels led Waterleau for over 14 years, overseeing its growth into a global environmental engineering company providing turn-key water and wastewater treatment projects using proprietary aerobic and anaerobic technologies. Under his leadership the company expanded through acquisitions including Ecovation and Krofta Technologies (2015). Goedseels represented Waterleau on a Flemish government economic mission to South Africa in 2022 visiting the Heineken Sedibeng Brewery water reclamation plant. Group Machiels later became majority shareholder of Waterleau.
