TLDR

Robbrecht Delrue is a Belgian founder, co-founder of Holmes and previously co-founder of Smartendr, where he led sales and go-to-market until the company was acquired by OrderBilly in September 2025.

Overview

Delrue spent nearly four years at Teamleader, a Ghent-based CRM and business software scale-up, before co-founding Smartendr in 2021 with Robin Praet and Louis Pannier. He led sales and strategy at Smartendr, helping the company reach 600+ hospitality venues, 400,000+ monthly users, and over EUR 1M in revenue. Smartendr was acquired by Ghent-based OrderBilly in September 2025.

In 2026 Delrue co-founded Holmes with Praet and Sofie Buyse, an autonomous QA platform that launched in May 2026 with a EUR 1.1M pre-Seed round led by Syndicate One. He has also angel-invested in Belgian hospitality tech, including the EUR 510K Feedelity round.

Delrue studied at Arteveldehogeschool and is based in Ghent.
