AIDOPTATION Receives Approval for First (Level 4) Fully Autonomous Driving Tests on Highways in the European Union We are proud to announce that Belgian authorities (Federal Public Service Mobility and Transport and the Flemish Agency for Roads and Traffic) have granted Aidoptation official authorization to test our fully #autonomous Level 4 system ”EdgeDrive” at highway speeds up to 120 km/h. The testing permit covers 100 km across the E313 and E314 highways in the #Limburg Region. While #EdgeDrive is designed to operate with no human intervention all testing will be conducted with a #supervisor driver on board who can take over vehicles operations at any time.
