Our Luxembourg team is developing two robotic manipulators that showcase Redwire’s expertise across orbital and lunar environments:
🛰️ STAARK (Space Technology Arm for Advanced Robotic Knowledge)
Designed Low Earth Orbit, STAARK is a modular, customizable robotic arm built to support a wide range of space missions from inspection and in-space assembly to servicing and debris removal. Recent demonstrations have shown its ability to autonomously track and grasp dynamic objects.
🌕 MANUS (Manipulator for Argonaut Payload Needs and Unloading Support)
Developed for the European Space Agency’s Argonaut lunar lander, MANUS is designed to support cargo handling and logistics on the Moon. The system enables loading, unloading, positioning, and retrieval of equipment and scientific payloads, helping pave the way for a sustained human and robotic presence on the lunar surface.
As space missions become more ambitious, advanced robotics will be essential to building, maintaining, and expanding humanity’s presence beyond Earth.
