Quantum computing often sounds like science fiction, but a major breakthrough recently happened right here in Belgium!
The Flemish research centre imec is the first company in the world to manufacture a qubit using High NA EUV lithography. This advanced technique opens the door for the industrial scaling of quantum computers, and is also really important for the next generations of memory and computing chips.
In other words, fantastic news for the manufacturing sector and Belgian innovation! 👏
At Coretecs, we consider imec a true partner for innovation. It’s where our founders first met, and we’ve been working with them every since. We're really proud of our small contribution to the infrastructure supporting this project. It's amazing to see what happens when R&D teams push the boundaries of technology.
