A GaN transistor is only as good as the gate driver controlling it.
That's why we developed a high-performance 200 V high-side/low-side GaN gate driver, MDC901.
Up to 7× smaller PCB footprint by integrating functions that would otherwise require numerous discrete components, including a 9 A driver, charge pump, floating regulators, dead-time control, bootstrap diodes, and more.
Because of that, MDC901 enables paralleling of GaN devices and 100% duty-cycle operation, making it suitable for applications such as motor drives.
