Millions of U.S. households want a financial plan. Yet most don't have one.
That's the "advice gap" eMoney's director of practice management laid out earlier this month in Advisor Perspectives and his point wasn't that AI makes advisors faster. It's that AI can finally make advice profitable to deliver at scale.
Here's the economics problem underneath it: comprehensive planning takes real advisor time, so firms have always had to ration it. Minimum asset thresholds, capacity limits, and the mass-affluent segment gets triaged out.
