We are pleased to welcome Koen Cobbaert , Regulatory Science and Policy Expert at Philips, as a speaker during MedTeG's MDR Day on Monday, 7 September 2026 at WATT The Health (Ghent) in collab with NoBoCap Project
Koen specializes in the application of technology law and standards for digital health products and has more than 20 years of experience developing regulatory and market authorization strategies for medical device software across a wide range of jurisdictions and clinical domains.
At Philips, he advances regulatory science through policy and regulatory initiatives with the European Commission, the European Parliament, the International Medical Device Regulators Forum (IMDRF), and the UK's National Commission on AI in Healthcare. He also represents Philips within Digital Europe, MedTech Europe, and COCIR, helping shape the future regulatory landscape for digital health and AI-enabled medical technologies.
As digital health continues to evolve, aligning innovation with regulatory requirements is essential.
