One of the most confusing things about AI pricing isn't the price. It's that you get charged for time you spent doing nothing at all.
Not a bug. Not a billing error. Not the platform quietly moving the goalposts. 💸
There's a specific technical reason it happens, and it's the same reason your long chats feel expensive in a way short ones don't.
