As an Obsolescence Manager, Helke-Katrin finds solutions when components are no longer available or technologies evolve, working closely with colleagues across teams to keep trains reliable and in service for the long term. Seeing a modernised train leave the hall, ready for many more years of operation, is where pride becomes tangible.
