🤖 Have you ever heard of soft robots? Unlike traditional rigid robots, soft robots are made from flexible materials, allowing them to interact more safely with people and handle delicate objects with greater care. Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) is now leading RESSORT, a Horizon Europe project bringing together 14 partners to help make soft robotics more reliable and ready for real-world applications, from rehabilitation and food handling to industrial inspections. At Melexis, we're contributing to the co-development of affordable 3D tactile sensors, helping give these robots a better sense of touch and enabling them to interact more effectively with their surroundings.
