Have you seen website domains like .beer / .gold / .realestate / .restaurant / .church ?!? Apparently they are now available to buy. And it's interesting how I got to know this fact... let me explain: A few days back, Stan team (https://lnkd.in/d4iUCPUA) announced that they purchased the stan.com domain for $750,000. Yes, you read that right, a bit less than a million dollars for a website name. 😵 I think we all agree it's a big price to pay and most people or businesses would never ever pay that much for a domain. But in this case I think the idea is more of a statement, like "we are THE STAN". 😎 So curiosity took me to GoDaddy to see what other Stan domains are available and - long story short - I came across stan-official.com, which in my mind is at the same level as stan.com (if not more powerful). Needless to say, I've bought stan-official.com instantly (I will not disclose the price, but it was waaay lower than $750,000). 😅 The reason I bought it was because I thought of giving a chance to all Stan's out there to be "the Stan", so I created a simple web page with a Voting mechanism to see which Stan is more popular.
