After six rounds of chemotherapy, the next step in 11-year-old Genesis's brain cancer treatment plan was daily radiation. Living over an hour away from the hospital, her family had to fill up on gas every three days, a significant financial barrier to getting Genesis to treatment.
With transportation support from Family Reach, Genesis was able to attend her appointments and reached the milestone of ringing the end-of-treatment bell. She's looking forward to getting back to her favorite things: spending time with her family and arts and crafts.
"You need all the help you can get, and Family Reach offers a lot of help," Genesis said. 🧡
