✈️ Here, teams transform forged parts weighing up to 7 tonnes into precision components for assembly across Safran Landing Systems' industrial network.
Machining, metallurgy, painting, plating, polishing, maintenance, engineering, planning and logistics... Every stage relies on a wide range of expertise and specialist skills.
💡Cool fact: Manufacturing a main landing gear box can take several weeks. During the machining process, up to 85% of the original forged material is removed to create the final component.
