🪁🇪🇺 #Airbornewindenergy can help end Europe’s fossil fuel dependence!
Europe’s dependence on fossil fuels is hitting people twice: intensifying the climate crisis while driving up energy bills for families and businesses.
🤝 Ahead of the State of the European Union address in September, Airborne Wind Europe is joining 197 other organisations and businesses in calling on European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to make this fossil fuel crisis Europe’s last.
💡 A resilient Europe needs clean, affordable and home-grown energy. By harnessing stronger and more consistent winds at higher altitudes, #AWE can complement Europe’s renewable energy mix, reduce dependence on volatile imports and strengthen its energy security.
Europe has the technologies to build a cleaner and more independent future. It is time to support them and accelerate their deployment.
