Fantastic breakfast event yesterday with dScribe!
What I noticed, and heard afterwards from several attendees, is that there's a lot of pull right now for best practices and examples of how to tackle data governance in real life. There's plenty of theories available, but not enough hands-on examples shared among peers.
Shoutout to Bart Teetaert, data architect and data governance lead at Liantis for his informative and relatable session on their data governance journey; and Tom Bouten, director & lead data governance at element61 for his keynote on the why and how to get started with data products & data contracts.
We'll share some more detailed takeaways and clips from the event in the coming weeks.
