Two men in their early 20s have been arrested, alleged to be behind TeamPCP, the group behind a wave of supply chain attacks over the past year, and especially the last six months, that caused real damage. Charlie explains why TeamPCP weren't especially sophisticated. They just moved fast, taking a public exploit or a piece of malware and having it running in a real campaign in a fraction of the usual time, using LLMs to close the gap between seeing a technique and deploying it at scale. And that's exactly why he thinks the arrest doesn't close the door. The barriers keep dropping and the tooling keeps getting better, so small, unremarkable groups like this one can now cause damage far out of proportion to their size. TeamPCP won't be the last.
