5G-ROUTES Project
5G-ROUTES is a Horizon 2020 research project validating 5G features for connected and automated mobility through large-scale field trials across the Via Baltica-North corridor in Latvia, Estonia, and Finland.
5G-ROUTES is a 5G-PPP Phase 3 project that conducts advanced field trials of connected and automated mobility (CAM) applications to validate 3GPP specifications (R.16 & R.17) under realistic conditions. The project demonstrates seamless 5G functionality across the Via Baltica-North cross-border corridor spanning Latvia, Estonia, and Finland. It aims to accelerate deployment of 5G-based interoperable CAM ecosystems and services throughout Europe.
