C-Power is a Belgian company established to develop, build and operate a far shore wind farm on the Thornton Bank, situated 30 km from the Belgian shoreline in the North Sea. The wind farm consists of 54 wind turbines with a total capacity of 325 MW, generating 1000 GWh of renewable energy annually, equivalent to the consumption of 300,000 families and reducing CO2 emissions by 415,000 tonnes per year compared to gas-fired power plants.
