ELCAT is a research group at the University of Antwerp focused on applied electrochemistry and catalysis. The group's core research goal is the development of state-of-the-art electrochemical reactors and catalysts for large-scale industrial development in industrial electrification in a green and sustainable way. Key activities include electrochemical CO₂ conversion, electrochemical hydrogen production, redox flow batteries, power-to-chemicals, and engineering services including electrosynthesis and electrochemical analysis.
