EVapp is a smartphone application that alerts medically trained volunteers (doctors, nurses, paramedics, Red Cross volunteers) to cardiac emergencies and guides them to the patient location. The app also locates nearby AEDs and guides volunteers to them, enabling faster CPR and defibrillation to improve survival chances. Volunteers without smartphones can be alerted via SMS.
