A research project that studies how natural and built urban environments shape human cognitive and emotional processing to inform urban health policymaking in the EU.
The eMOTIONAL Cities project aims to provide scientific evidence on how the natural and built urban environment shapes the neural system underlying human cognitive and emotional processing, incorporating age, gender, and vulnerable groups' specificities. The project has concluded but maintains resources focused on improving urban health, reducing health inequalities, and advancing research and innovation in urban planning.
