FASTEST is a fast-track hybrid testing platform for accelerated development and validation of battery systems using combined virtual and physical testing.
The FASTEST project addresses inefficiencies in Li-ion battery testing by combining multi-scale and multi-physics virtual and physical testing through a Design of Experiments strategy. Previous methods required significant resource consumption, costly equipment, and trial-and-error approaches, with testing limited to single facilities and localized data management.
