I4BE is a European agri-food partnership developing innovative bio-based ingredients from agricultural side streams and biomass for food and non-food applications.
I4BE connects clusters, innovation organisations, research centres and regional authorities to accelerate the transition towards a circular bioeconomy. The partnership transforms biomass, agri-food side streams and emerging biological resources into innovative ingredients and sustainable products, working across six strategic innovation areas including alternative proteins, circular economy, and upcycling of food by-products.
