REACT Project EU

REACT is a 4-year research project funded by the EU's Horizon 2020 Programme aimed at achieving island energy independence through renewable energy generation and storage, a demand response platform, and promoting user engagement in local energy communities. The project develops technical and business models to demonstrate economic benefits and decarbonisation of local energy systems for geographical islands that face energy security challenges and costs up to 400% higher than mainland areas.
