REMADYL Project
REMADYL is an EU-funded project aiming to recycle old PVC by removing hazardous legacy substances like phthalate plasticizers and heavy metal stabilizers.
REMADYL Project focuses on rejuvenating 'old PVC' into high purity PVC through the removal of legacy substances from end-of-life PVC waste. The project addresses recycling of hard PVC (window frames, tubes) and soft PVC (flooring, cables) post-consumer waste that contains hazardous additives such as DEHP plasticizers and lead-based stabilizers. REMADYL is funded by the European Union under the H2020 program.
