ReVision Implant

ReVision Implant is developing a visual prosthesis that implants thousands of micro-electrodes directly into the visual cortex of the brain, wirelessly linked to a headset with cameras and signal processing. The cortical implant approach bypasses the eye entirely and is designed to work for most types of blindness, including those affecting the retina where no current effective therapies exist.
