SOLVOMET is KU Leuven's Research and Training Centre for Circular Hydrometallurgy, supporting companies in developing sustainable hydrometallurgical processes.
SOLVOMET supports mining, metallurgical and recycling companies in developing more sustainable circular hydrometallurgical processes using lab and mini-pilot scale experimental facilities and modelling capabilities. The centre performs research in metallurgical chemistry and solvent extraction while training young researchers, and supports companies worldwide in developing circular hydrometallurgical processes up to TRL5.
