SynEry develops synthetic blood cells as an alternative to natural blood products to address global blood supply instabilities.
SynEry aims to create synthetic erythrocytes in advanced lipid vesicles to address scarcity and safety issues in blood supply, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. The project has received funding from the Horizon Europe programme under grant agreement No 101046894.
