Tangent Works

Founded in 2016, Tangent Works built its core technology around InstantML, a proprietary machine learning approach implemented in its Tangent Information Modeler (TIM) engine. The technology automates feature engineering and model rebuilding for time-series data, a notoriously labor-intensive step in traditional forecasting pipelines.

The platform targets use cases including demand forecasting, energy consumption prediction, and anomaly detection in industrial and operational data. Tangent Works sells directly and through partners, with firms like Bardess Group and Differentia Consulting distributing ColdStream in their respective markets.

Tangent Works secured EUR 4M in a Series A round from SFPIM Relaunch, FOMCAP IV, Saffelberg Investments, and Molenwater Group, bringing total funding to approximately EUR 7M across three rounds.
