Zetes

Zetes was founded in 1984 in Brussels and grew into a European technology company providing IT solutions for supply chain optimisation (Goods ID) and citizen identification (People ID). Its solutions are built on barcode, voice recognition, RFID, smartcard, and biometrics technologies, and the company operates in 22 countries with over 1,300 employees.

In 2017, Panasonic Corporation acquired Zetes, paying EUR 54.50 per share, implying an equity value of EUR 291M and an enterprise value of EUR 280M. Zetes is now part of the Panasonic Connect group.
