Swave Photonics Series A 2025
Swave Photonics raised EUR 27M in a Series A in early 2025, led by imec.xpand and SFPIM, to advance its holographic display technology toward commercialization.
The Series A followed Swave's 2024 Series B and continued the company's funding trajectory as it moved its holographic display technology closer to product readiness. imec.xpand, the deep tech VC arm of Belgian research institute imec, led the round alongside SFPIM, the Belgian federal investment fund.
The combination of institutional deep tech capital and government co-investment reflects the strategic importance of display and photonics research in Belgium's innovation agenda.
