Teamleader Acquisition 2022
Teamleader was acquired by Visma in June 2022, adding the Belgian SME CRM and project management platform to Visma's pan-European software portfolio.
Visma, the Oslo-based software conglomerate, acquired Teamleader in June 2022. Teamleader provides CRM, project management, and invoicing software targeted at European SMEs, particularly in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The acquisition gave Visma a strong Belgian SME software footprint and followed a pattern of the Norwegian group buying well-positioned European vertical software companies. The deal came before Visma's September 2023 acquisition of Silverfin, reinforcing its Belgian presence.
