SC Ventures

SC Ventures is the innovation and venture arm of Standard Chartered Bank, one of the world's largest international banking groups. The unit's mandate is to "rewire the DNA in banking" by developing an innovation culture, investing in disruptive financial technology, and incubating new business models outside the core bank.

The firm operates eXellerator innovation labs across Singapore, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London, Nairobi, and San Francisco. In six years of operation, SC Ventures launched more than 15 new ventures from within its platform. Its investment portfolio is organized around four themes: online economy and lifestyle, digital assets, small and medium enterprise tools, and world trade with sustainability and inclusion.

As the corporate VC arm of Standard Chartered, SC Ventures has access to the bank's global network and balance sheet, giving it both financial firepower and strategic distribution for portfolio companies seeking institutional banking partnerships.
