Aida Nasiri

Aida Nasiri is Chief Operating Officer of IONICS Surface Technologies, a role she took up in February 2025. She is based in Brussels. She joined IONICS Surface Technologies in November 2022 as Business Development Manager, then served as Sales & Marketing Manager from January 2024 until February 2025.

Before that she was at Amcor, first as Technical Manager from March 2021 and then as Technical and Quality Manager until November 2022. From January 2018 to March 2021 she was a Technical Sales & Innovation Specialist at Nanocyl. Earlier she was a researcher at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research between 2013 and 2017, a university lecturer at the Caspian College of University of Tehran, English language editor of the International Journal of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology, and worked at the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry in international affairs and as a nanomaterial market research analyst.

She holds a PhD in process engineering from the University of Montpellier, and a BSc and MSc from the University of Tehran in chemical engineering. She also completed postgraduate study at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and at Queen Mary University of London.
