Alexander Meiring
Alexander Meiring is the chief executive officer of DAU Technology, a role he has held since September 2021. He is based in the Western Cape. In August 2017 he founded Smartload, which he continues to run alongside his position at DAU Technology.
Before that, Meiring held creative roles across a series of organisations. He worked at Humanstate from January 2016 to 2017, and at Dornier Wines in 2014. He had two periods at MXit Lifestyle, first from April 2005 to October 2006 and again from February 2010 to October 2012, with a spell at NioCAD between August 2009 and February 2010. From November 2006 to February 2009 he worked with GivenGain and PayProp. Earlier in his career he was at in2one SA pty Ltd from November 2003 to March 2005 and at Bates141 from January 2002 to October 2003.
Meiring studied at Stellenbosch University from 1996 to 2001, gaining a B.Com in Law.
