Amir Jahanshahi

Amir Jahanshahi is the chief executive officer of iThermAI, a role he has held since April 2021. He is based in Leuven.

He studied electronics at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, completing a Bachelor of Science in 2006 and ranking second in his class. He then took a Master of Science in semiconductor device electronics at the University of Tehran between 2006 and 2008, graduating first in rank. From 2009 to 2013 he pursued a PhD in electrical and electronics engineering at Ghent University, affiliated with imec, and remained at Ghent University as a postdoctoral research fellow in engineering from April 2013 to August 2014.
