Andrew Moere

Andrew Moere is a co-founder of Citizen Dialog Kit, which he set up in September 2023, and is based in Leuven. He has been a professor at KU Leuven since October 2018, having joined the university as an associate professor in February 2010.

Before returning to Belgium, Moere spent six years at the University of Sydney, where he was a senior lecturer from February 2004 to February 2010 and, from February 2008, also program coordinator of the Master of Interaction Design and Electronic Arts.

He completed a PhD in information visualisation at ETH Zürich between 2001 and 2004, and had earlier taken a post-graduate qualification in CAAD, architecture and computing at the same institution in 1999 and 2000. He studied architectural engineering at KU Leuven from 1993 to 1998, graduating with a master's degree in architecture and civil engineering.
