Andries Clinckaert
Clinckaert began his career in medicine with a specialization in prostate cancer research before being Struck by the documentation burden pulling clinicians away from patient care. He co-founded Tiro Health in 2020 with Axel Vanraes and Charlotte De Vlieghere, combining expertise in medicine, machine learning, and data analysis. The platform uses specialty-specific clinical templates combined with terminology engines to produce native FHIR resources from each documented item. Tiro has raised $1.18 million from imec.istart and Miles Ahead.
