Andries Heylen
Andries Heylen is the owner of MIXX - Digital technology for events, a role he has held since June 2021 and which is based in Brussels. He joined MIXX in October 2010 as a software engineer and worked in that capacity until taking over ownership. Since March 2015 he has also been a developer at 1-more-thing.
Between 2012 and 2015 he was CTO and founder of Lihaoma (礼好吗), and from 2012 to 2014 he held the same position at Giftvibes. From April 2008 to March 2015 he worked at BH&A as a FileMaker Pro 9 to 12 certified developer. Earlier, he was a maintenance engineer at Volvo Trucks from December 2007 to April 2008, and a trainee at VLM Airlines from 2006 to 2007.
He spoke at FMConf in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and at FMSummit in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Heylen studied aerospace engineering at Delft University of Technology, graduating with a Master of Science in 2007, after completing Latin and mathematics at Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe College Vilvoorde.
