Anna Balabina

Anna Balabina is co-founder and CFO of casepal, a role she has held since June 2024. She is based in Düsseldorf, where she has also worked as a scientific assistant at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP since April 2022.

In July 2024 she completed an internship at Grant Thornton Germany. Between November 2022 and February 2024 she was scientific assistant to the director general at Societaet CHORVS, and in early 2023 she was an internship trainee at Asters. She joined JURIST as a journalist in June 2022 and was senior correspondent there from October 2022 to October 2023. She also worked as an assistant at the Generalkonsulat der Ukraine in Düsseldorf in late 2022, and took part in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot from May 2021 to April 2023.

Balabina holds a Master of Science in Financial Analysis and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from KU Leuven, a Bachelor of Laws in European Law from the University of Düsseldorf, and a bachelor's degree in law from the Ukrainian Catholic University.
