Annelies Dewaele
Annelies Dewaele is CEO of moonfish, based in Limburg. She took up the role in January 2025, having joined Moonfish in April 2023 as a driving force, a position recorded until December 2025.
Before that she spent over five years at Konings NV, joining as an R&D engineer in November 2017 and becoming innovation manager in November 2018, a role she held until February 2023. She began her career at KU Leuven, where she held a PhD fellowship from October 2012 to October 2016 and then a postdoctoral mandate as a postdoctoral researcher until October 2017.
Dewaele studied bio-engineering at KU Leuven, completing a bachelor's degree in 2010 and a Master of Science magna cum laude in 2012. In 2023 she took a postgraduate degree in energy coordination at Hogeschool Odisee. She attended Heilig Graf Instituut Bilzen.
