Antoine Lebacq
Antoine Lebacq is the founder and chief executive of dgenious, a company he started in 2016 and where he served as founder and chief technology officer until December 2022 before taking up the chief executive role in January 2023. Since January 2023 he has also been the founder of AI Practice. He is based in Switzerland.
Before dgenious, Lebacq owned Patagonia Crans Montana from 2012 to 2015. His earlier career was in equity derivatives: he was a managing director at Merrill Lynch from 2005 to 2011 and a director at Credit Suisse from 2000 to 2005, having worked as an equity derivatives specialist at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. from 1997 to 1999 and, in 1996, at Degroof Petercam.
He studied at Ichec Brussels Management School from 1993 to 1998, completing the five-year ingénieur commercial programme combining engineering and business courses with a focus on finance, and spent six months at Tilburg University on an Erasmus exchange.
