
Armand Beche
Armand Beche is the CEO of AdaptEM, a position he has held since January 2023. Since the same month he has also been a scientific researcher at UCLouvain - Université catholique de Louvain.
He joined Universiteit Antwerpen in November 2012 as a research scientist, and from May 2017 until January 2023 was a team manager and research scientist there. Before that, from January 2010 to October 2012, he was a TEM applications specialist at FEI Company.
Beche carried out his doctoral work at CEA from September 2006 to October 2009 on strain measurement at the nanoscale using TEM. He had worked as an engineer at McMaster University in 2006 and at CEA in 2005. He studied at Grenoble INP - UGA, where he took an engineering degree and a master's degree in materials science and a doctorate in microscopy and physics of materials. He completed preparatory classes at Lycée Joffre in Montpellier and his baccalauréat at Lycée Louis Feuillade in Lunel.
