Arnaud Bosteels

Arnaud Bosteels is the chief executive officer of melimpus, based in Brussels. He founded Melimpus in February 2021 and took up the role of chief executive officer in October 2025. Since November 2024 he has been a scientific researcher at Cerdecam, and from August 2026 he holds a consultant anaesthesia post at UZ Brussel.

He worked at Clinic Saint-Jean Brussels from September 2009 to August 2024 as an anesthesiologist, heading the department of anaesthesia from August 2016 to April 2021 and the virtual reality unit from May 2019 to August 2024. Between November 2017 and December 2018 he was co-founder and chief medical officer of Building Healthcare For Tomorrow. Earlier he was a provisional fellow in anaesthesia at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and completed an anaesthesia fellowship at Clinique Saint Anne-Saint Remy.

Bosteels studied at the Université de Namur before reading medicine at KU Leuven from 1997 to 2007, and returned to KU Leuven for a master's degree in sports medicine. He also completed programmes at Vlerick Business School, Lifetech.brussels and Sport Vlaanderen.
