Arno Soontjens

Arno Soontjens is CTO and a partner at dashdot, a role he took up in February 2026. He is based in Antwerp. Since May 2024 he has also been a co-founder and tech lead at Fastlane.

From January 2020 to February 2026 he was a co-founder and full stack developer at PandaPanda, and between 2017 and May 2024 he ran W3Technics as zaakvoerder. He was a lector at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool from September 2020 to May 2024 and a full stack developer at BloomUp from August 2020 to May 2022. At KU Leuven he was a scientific staff member in 2018 and a voluntary contributor from September 2019 to May 2024. He interned at Chirojeugd-Vlaanderen vzw in the spring of 2013.

Soontjens studied electronics and ICT at Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen, graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2013, and went on to KU Leuven, where he completed a Master of Science in Engineering in Electronics/ICT with a focus on Internet Computing in 2017 and a postgraduate programme in Innovation and Entrepreneurship the same year.
