Athanasios Kakasis

Athanasios Kakasis is the chief executive officer of AINIGMA Technologies, a role he has held since February 2023, and he is based in Greece. He co-founded AINIGMA Technologies in November 2020. Since May 2023 he has also worked as an infectious diseases consultant at Euroclinic Group.

From January 2021 to February 2023 he was an infectious diseases fellow at the "Laiko" General Hospital. He worked as an internal medicine specialist at Metropolitan General from July 2019 to November 2020 and in private practice from October 2019 to December 2020. Earlier, he was an internal medicine resident at Athens General Hospital "G Gennimatas" between February 2016 and May 2019, and at the General Hospital Of Kefalonia from February 2013 to December 2015.

Kakasis studied medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, graduating with an MD in 2010, and completed a Master of Science in global health and health crisis management at the Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon between 2017 and 2020.
